Bhabie vs. ‘Bama
Danielle Bregoli, aka Bhad Bhabie, is known for her appearance on Dr. Phil, where she gave the internet a plethora of sayings such as: “catch me outside, how ‘bout that?” and “oh, who is you?” Recently, Bhabie has resurged in popularity on the internet, addressing the beef between her and Alabama Barker.
Their rift began in December of 2024 when Bhabie accused Barker, daughter of Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker, of trying to steal her then-boyfriend and now father of her child from her. Alabama denied these allegations, but Bhabie insisted that what she was saying was the truth. In late January, Bhabie would release a diss track called “Over Cooked,” in which she would address Alabama for the things she was saying about her on social media. This would be the start to their beef, resembling one of rappers Kendrick Lamar and Drake, which made headlines for the Canadian star’s alleged involvement with minors. In response to this song, Barker would release “Cry Bhabie,” where she would refute the allegations Bhabie made about her in the diss track.
However, Bhabie would release a song that would go viral on social media, seeming to put an end to the beef all together. “Ms. Whitman” would be released as the final attack on Barker, where Bhabie essentially has the final laugh. Bhabie would call her out and ridicule her in many disses Here are a few of the most popular, and clever, verses: “Flex like me, wanna be just like me, but I got plaques, on plaques, on plaques like Soulja Boy teeth.” Bhabie alleged how Barker, “almost overdosed on a vape, nobody ain’t call about you,” and “no, you’re not a model. Give that flow right back to Latto”, my personal favorite.
In the ensuing music video, Bhabie would do her makeup to match Barker’s signature look, and even went as far as to include a Travis Barker look-alike. The icing on the cake would have to be the fact that the song is a sample of 2024 hit “Carnival”, written and sung by Kardashian affiliated Kanye West. If you did not know, Alabama’s father married Kourtney Kardashian, the sister of Kim Kardashian and former wife to West, now known as Ye.
If you have yet to listen to “Ms. Whitman,” I recommend hearing it all the way through at least once. You might even share a few laughs, voice a few “oohs” as you hear the genius that is Bhad Bhabie.
