Review on Clue

This past weekend, Worcester Academy’s theater brought the classic murder mystery, Clue, to life in an unforgettable way. Inspired by the board game, the production featured beloved characters such as Professor Plum, Colonel Mustard, Mr. Green, Mrs. Peacock, Mrs. White, and Ms. Scarlett, each portrayed with passion and energy.

The actors did an amazing job stepping into their characters, delivering each line with captivating and comedically timed precision. A special shout-out to Sabina Gill, Samara Masiki, and Emma DeRoche for fully embodying their male characters with confidence and witty charm. Besides these three, every cast member brought incredible commitment, making the show enthusiastic and fun to watch.

Often overlooked is the dedication that comes from the crew during these productions. Seeing the hard work everyone on the crew put into the show was crucial to the show’s success. From seamlessly changing props and staging “dead bodies” removals to operating two fully functioning revolving stage sets, these behind-the-scenes heroes brought Clue to life. Their hard work deserves applause along with the performances on stage.

Clue was a hilarious and interactive experience, placing it in one of my favorite theater productions I have seen. Congratulations to the entire cast and crew!
