Battle for the Hilltop: Day 2
Tuesday 2/11
Welcome to Day Two of Battle for the Hilltop 2024-2025. The theme was superheroes, with Hoffman dressing as Cartoon Network characters, Boston wearing Avengers costumes, Rowe flashing Justice League outfits, and Porter dressing up as the X-men. Today’s final score:

CCL started with Shut the Box and a WA crossover grid held in the Student Center. With the crossover, people were able to learn new facts about the school and the students that reside here. Also during CCL, was the game of Operation and the coffee tasting. Rowe took first place in the tasting and after a tiebreak, Hoffman took second. Both of these events took place in Megaron.
At lunch, there was an arm wrestling contest. It happened king of the hill style, where you go until you’ve beaten everyone. Many people competed and tried to win but there was only one king of the hill. The winner of this contest was Tyler Alexander for Team Rowe.
During X-block, more competitions took place all over campus. There was Monopoly, debate, Shark Tank, Lego building, and much more that took place in Kingsley. Jacob Jiang on Team Boston took first place in the Shark Tank contest. Every team had a representative at the debate contest but three members from team Rowe took the win. Tons of other games took place in the gymnasium, where everyone from every team competed.
With day two of the Battle for the Hilltop concluded, we can’t wait to see what happens tomorrow!
