What time should I get to school to get a parking spot?
Ah, the question that persists in the mind of every Worcester Academy senior. It is no secret that the seniors of the class of 2019 are particularly dedicated to securing their senior lot spot, as the lot is often filled by 7:40 am, 20 minutes before the school day officially begins. I wish I had an answer to this question (especially because I am just as eager as any senior to get a spot), but there appears to be no clear cut answer. My simple advice is- the earlier the better. If you are willing to sacrifice that extra 15 minutes of sleep, then you are that much closer to securing a spot. A good rule of thumb is to arrive 30 minutes before the day begins;this will almost guarantee you a spot in the infamous lot. However, if you arrive any time after that, your chances of getting a spot tick away along with the minutes on the clock as the start of the school day approaches. On a good day, you might be able to get a spot at 7:45, but on a bad day, 7:33 may not even be sufficient.
